Velvet Avenue LLC is the clothing shop at 1101 Ocean Ave N. Women and men share the floor: suits and dresses, denim, knits, bags, wallets, glasses, belts, and shoes.
Each tag shows two numbers. The higher one is the usual boutique price for a piece of this cloth or leather. The lower one is what you pay here, about 15 to 20 percent less.

Try It In Daylight
Shirts, jackets, and shoes are tried together by the front windows, where the color is honest.
Hem It or Take It
If a hem or waist needs work, we pin it and quote it. Otherwise the piece is bagged for the counter or shipped.
The Priority
We Keep Priority For Pieces You Will Wear For Years
Cloth you can feel, leather that can scuff and still look right, and frames that are not a costume. The room is small so choosing is faster.
